LAX / xprmnt / Los Angeles

The next one right here. Dedicated to my boy  DJ 1NEMC1s who now resides in Los Angeles and reps xprmnt clothing co. Also an ode to this years NBA Champs.

This a play on LAX as in LA + Xprmnt… Xprmnt Los Angeles will be handled and promoted by DJ 1NEMC1S while the rest of the crew handles the biz here at the Rocks.

This design is subject to change in the most minimal way but the main concept will remain. More will definitely come out of the Lab as well. So for now this is a peep into the future of Xprmnt and the direction we are taking.

LAXprmnt Design Concept

xprmnt Hachi Levin took the win at A.S.B. 2010

I t went down on June 19, 2010 at Aloha Tower Marketplace at the Build The Track show. Hawaii All Star Bash is a 1/10 scale Remote Control Drifting event that consisted of a Body Compitition(a car showoff if you will) and a Tandem Drift Compitition held by the guys and gals at Team Saiko.

Xprmnt if you haven’t already know sponsors individuals and a team(Team Slideways) in this sport of pure skill and creativity.  The Xprmnt cars both entered at the Tandem Drift and Body Compititions. The Xprmnt car which is a Light Green Hachi Trueno did not take the gold at the Tandem Drift Battle but represented well. However, the Champagne Brown Xprmnt Hachi Levin did take home the gold at the Body Compitition amongst some of Hawaii’s finest builders.

Taking the gold was really sweet but the main objective of the Xprmnt cars is to expose the brand name at different sports and venues. Xprmnt will forever live up to the name as we experiment with the different types of things, passions, interests, etc… that this world and beyond offers.

On another note, be on the look for more Xprmnt cars and Team Slideways at the many events entered and supported.

Audible Lab Rats & Xprmnt Clothing Co. collab

Latest design is a collaboration with the mighty Audible Lab Rats. The Audible Lab Rats are DJ 1nemc1s, Nomadd, and STU,  all of which are very talented and deadly on the music productions. All 3 members are very musically inclined and deadly with beat making. DJ 1nemc1s is an assasin on the twin techs and a battle dj at heart. Nomadd and STU are some Hawaii’s most talented MCs.  This design is inspired by one of their title track for their upcoming album due for release real soon. It’s the Hawaii version of LMFAO’s “I’m in Miami trick”.  This will be available in gray, black, and white tees real soon. Be on the look out for this one.

High Chief XL / DJ 1NMC1S

On behalf of the Xprmnt Camp we would like take this time to honor and remember a fallen brother. Our deepest and dearest condolence to brother High Chief’s family and friends and to his AIGA family. Brother High Chief left us today too soon.

To brother Walter Saole aka High Chief XL. It was truly an honor and a blessing to have met you and be in your presence. You will be missed and we will remember the grandness that is you. A gentle giant with a good heart. Its been a pleasure bro and may you rest in peace. Until we meet again. Thank you.

Here’s a vid that Big Moxx posted up on his page and I took the liberty of borrowing it. Its a performance of some of Hawaii’s heavy hitters and brother High Chief XL blessed the crowd.

Xprmnt Clothing Co. would like to take this oppurtunity to congratulate our very own DJ 1nemc1s of the almighty Audible Lab Rats / Xprmnt Clothing Co. general for placing in the top finalists at this past weekends DMC DJ Battle that went down in California.  Our boy didn’t get to bring home the gold but we are sure he gave them a run for their money. DJ 1nemc1s is already in the lab stratetigizing his set for next years DMC Battle.  Like all great DJs he never stops grindin and perfectin his skills… so if you see our boy in town (don’t tell him we told you that he’s in town) give him a pat in the back for reppin’ Hawaii and for always bringing it on… Big ups homey and welcome back to the Rocks…
