Here’s a draft of one of our soon to be released design coming up. Might slightly mix it up a bit or resize. We’ll just have to see.

“Be Alive F**k Nine to Five” is a sort of battle cry to the daily hustlers grindin it out day in and day out. To the ones that refused to conform to the injected concept of working for someone else to be successful. This is for the the very few that stuck their middle finger to the corporate ladder concept and on a mission to own the corporate ladder than climb it. So this is an ode to the few that took the risk to gain success and freedom. To those that is truly living…

Now here’s something that simply is just amazing and truly green. A fam member of mine posted this vid on facebook and immediately I checked it out. Upon viewing, I immediately fell in love with this idea and how simple yet so effective it was. Best of all it helps the needy and its inexpensive and green. So as soon as I finished the YouTube vid I went and searched the website and tried to learn about this project and how it was developed…. I don’t want to spoil it for you so I am going to leave it here and have experience an “aha” momment on your own.

Inkling

This is a definite must have in my arsenal. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time and Wacom pulls through. I have the Bamboo and I don’t use it as much but this Inkling will definitely be the ish… I doodle on any paper that I can get my hands on and even on apps for my phone. With the natural feel of the pen and then load it as a vector file, dhaymmmm! I foresee greatness in this tool…

So this should be available this September huh… I smell a birthday gift for myself this month.

Discover DJ – new toy

This right here is Ion’s Discover DJ Computer DJ System that retails for about $110. I’ve had my eyes set on these since last year and thought it would be something good for my arsenal. I know what y’all are thinking, yes it looks like a toy and yes its not really that accurate, and yes its for minor/newbie DJs. I don’t disagree with you, but then again I do not call myself a DJ nor even dream of becoming one. I for one just needed something that can do the job that I needed it to do, simply just blend and a little bit of scratching, looping, droppin mixes. This is one that will definitely come in handy with a lot of visual projects that will be coming in the near future. But I did not want to fork out $100 for it only to be disappointed. So I kind of forgot about it…

Until yesterday while shopping at Toys R Us and I bumped in to this stack with an awesome price tag.

Do you see the price of this thing? Now tell me how in hell could you pass up on this deal? So I took it home, and immediately tried to play with it. I also started to reflect on my research on this from last year. I started to do more research on it and checked the YouTube vids and seen people’s comments on it. Yes, I agree with a lot of them vids and at the same time amazed at what some people or DJs can do with it.
